World Book Day

Design Technology

We have been designing and creating monsters using felt. We practised our sewing skills to join the materials together. Here are some of our examples.

Science

In Science we were learning about different types of rocks. We conducted an experiment using chocolate to investigate how the different types of rock are formed. We enjoyed the chocolate afterwards too!

PSHE

We have been learning about keeping safe in PSHE. We all joined in with role playing some scenarios about risk and danger.

Black History Month

We all took part in Moving Words for Black History Month. We learned a dance and a poem about Martin Luther King Jr.

Geography

During our Topic lesson we conducted a fieldwork study. We were looking at urban and rural features in our local area.

NSPCC Number Day

On Number Day this year Rowan class took part in various number based activities. We created times table flowers, measured our friends and worked out what items we could buy for a new pet using £20.
